Safety & Fleet FAQs

We prioritize your safety and comfort. Our fleet undergoes regular maintenance and rigorous safety checks to ensure a reliable journey every time you book with us.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick‑up time, the full fare will be charged and is non‑refundable.

Q: What happens if I don’t show up for my booking?
A: If the driver arrives at the agreed pick‑up point and you do not show up or cannot be contacted, the journey will be treated as a no‑show and the full fare will be charged.

Q: How long will the driver wait for me?
A: Our drivers will wait up to 10 minutes at local pick‑ups. After this, waiting time may be charged at our standard waiting rate, and the journey may be cancelled if we cannot contact you.

Q: How do airport pick‑ups work?
A: For airport transfers, we monitor your flight where possible and adjust the pick‑up time where we can. Additional waiting time and parking charges may apply and will be added to your fare.

Q: When and how do I pay for my journey?
A: Fares are agreed at the time of booking based on the journey details you provide. Payment is due on or before the journey, using the payment methods we accept (for example: cash, card or bank transfer, as agreed when you book).

Q: Can I change my booking after it’s confirmed?
A: Yes, but any changes to time, date, pick‑up or drop‑off address, extra stops, number of passengers or luggage must be requested as early as possible. Changes may affect the fare and are subject to availability.

Q: How do you handle luggage and personal items?
A: You are responsible for ensuring your luggage is suitable for the vehicle booked. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle, but we will do our best to help you recover any items you report missing.

Q: What are your safety and behaviour rules?
A: Seatbelts must be worn at all times where fitted. We may refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger’s behaviour is unsafe, abusive, or likely to cause damage to the vehicle. In such cases, the full fare will still be charged.

Q: Do I need to provide a child seat?
A: Where child seats are required, it is the passenger’s responsibility to provide and correctly fit suitable child seats, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Q: What if the vehicle is soiled or damaged during my journey?
A: If a passenger soils or damages the vehicle (for example through spillages or sickness), a standard soiling charge of £150 will apply. This amount may be increased if the damage or cleaning required is greater than this.

Q: Which areas do you cover?
A: We usually operate within Shrewsbury, Shropshire and surrounding areas, including airport and hospital transfers. Journeys outside our normal operating area are accepted at our discretion.
